Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Jesus said that when the tree is bad, it is going to produce bad fruit, and if the tree is good, it is going to produce good fruit. The main issue is what is inside of us, and if we can fix that, what we should be producing becomes part of the natural process.

Jesus said to the religious people that how can they even produce any good fruit when the inside is already bad. For all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. No one is righteous, no, not one.

Jesus came to earth, took this fallen nature, nailed it and buried it so that we can live in Christ, who has now become our Image and our likeness. When we put Christ into our hearts and minds, we plant His image and likeness in our lives. We will start producing godly fruits that resemble Him.

If we don't change the old image inside of us, it is impossible to bear fruit that is of the new in Christ.

How do we change the image of the inside? It is by receiving Jesus into our lives and unpacking Him in every area of our lives. Open Him into our daily lives so that we will saturate our lives with Him.

Then we start speaking the fruits of the image that is inside of us.

We start seeing ourselves like our Saviour, living like Him and producing His likeness every day of our lives.

Let us see Jesus sitting on the throne of our hearts and ruling over our minds, leading us in the way, the truth and the life.
