Galatians 6:2 NKJV

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2 NKJV

Paul taught us to help people and lift them up from their burdens so they can move forward.

The word "burden" in Greek is "baros," which means a heavy, crushing, and oppressive weight that causes people to be stuck and cannot move.

This is not talking about taking over the responsibility of their personal life, but giving people help to get them back on their journey and so that they are able to take responsibility for their own lives.

When people have made some wrong choices and decisions in life, or when terrible things happen, we are there to support and help them, to give them a lift so that they can carry on with the journey of life.

Each one has a responsibility for their own life, their own family and ministry. We are all called in the same measure to trust God for our own provision that God has already prepared.

God has graced us with strength, wisdom, knowledge and provision to lift each other's burdens when we see the needs.

There are many genuine people who need a little lift in life so that they can take the next step to build their life and we must not get caught and be bound by those who don't want to take responsibility for their own lives.

Hear the voice of the Holy Spirit to do the right thing at the right time. Do not neglect that voice of God nor delay the help.

Each one of us is empowered to give from the storehouse of God His abundance of wisdom, knowledge and provision.

Let us be like Jesus, as He has lifted us up for the journey of our lives, we too need to lift each other so that they are lifted to have a good start in life.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
