I Corinthians 7:22 NKJV

For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave.

I Corinthians 7:22 NKJV

Paul is teaching us to live according to our God given identity,. What matters most is not who we are in our natural birth but who we are in our spiritual birth in Christ.

We must not get caught up with pride of our natural status and neither should we feel demotivated from our natural lack for in Christ we all have become equal as His children.

We need to focus on building our lives as children of God, changing our lifestyles from the kingdom of this world to God's kingdom and His government that is led by His Spiritual laws.

As a freed man and as a man that has been made free, we have to lift ourselves from an earthly dimension and start living in God's dimension with His spiritual gifts.

We must continue to cultivate our spiritual life that God has given through Christ and build ourselves up in Him every day.

The word "slave" in greek also means a spiritual bondservant. Which means we have become one with Christ to serve in the newness of life.

Therefore, it is no longer our natural ability but the power of God that will be at work as we step out in faith to accomplish His purpose.

This leads us to keep our eyes on Christ, His kingdom, His power and His provision that has been made available for us to finish His work.

Let us cast off our mindset that is structured once according to the world and replace it with a kingdom mindset and kingdom structures.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
