I Corinthians 1:4 NKJV

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,

I Corinthians 1:4 NKJV

Paul thanked God for the grace which was given to them when they received Christ. It is clear that this is not something they have earned, but rather something given as a gift.

God has gifted us not only with powerful and wonderful gifts. Above all that He gave, He gave Himself to be in each one of us through His Spirit.

Therefore, we are not only blessed with the gifts but have the Giver living in us at all times. The one who is the source of all and who is all in all, the Great I AM is living in us.

This grace is too good to be true and yet it is the truth. This is the demonstration of God's love, and there is nothing greater than God making His dwelling in us through His Holy Spirit.

Paul says that this grace enriched us in all utterance and knowledge. That means this grace is to be uttered and to be known.

We speak of it first until we see it with our understanding. We believe first before we see the manifestation.

This grace tells us that we have no shortage of supply of knowledge, understanding, wisdom, favour and the list goes on and on.

This is the abundant life Jesus established in each one of us who believes in Him. If we are uttering who we are in Christ then we will begin to see our true state of being and experience the abundance of God.

If we are uttering our issues, our pain and our struggles then we would be drowned by our sorrows. We need to lift ourselves up from living in the flesh and its state to living in the Spirit and in its state.

Who are we in Christ?

What have we received in Him?

How are we standing today?

These are such important questions we need to ask ourselves so that we can check our position and align it back to be in Christ's finished work.

Many believe Jesus will do it for them, many believe Jesus will give them, protect them and heal them. The truth is Jesus already finished the work for us, gave us all things pertaining to life and godliness, shielded us with His own power and healed all our diseases.

When our beliefs are not in alignment with what Christ has established, then we will struggle to live out all that He has given.

God is calling us all back to the truth that Jesus is our all in all, He is not going to be, HE IS. He is the great I AM and not the going to be.

Let us live in the grace of God. It is done, it is given, and it has been restored, and it is time for the believers to display His glory.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
