Paul, who had had the revelation and been illuminated from the religious trap which made him lose his way to becoming a persecutor of believers, understood the importance of seeing the truth by the power of the Holy Spirit.

He understood that unless it is revealed by the Holy Spirit, he would not be able to see the way, the truth and the life that Christ has offered to all mankind.

This is the reason Paul prays for the Ephesian Church that they will not see as he saw before his conversion, but that they will see with their spiritual eyes and their spiritual understanding.

Paul prays for them not to see things from a human perspective but to seek the Lord and let the Holy Spirit of God illuminate their minds and hearts to the real truth.

Many still seek the Lord from the outside, outer courts and pray to get in once in a while, to have special moments with God. That was the pattern of the old covenant in the wilderness.

But now the veil is torn and Christ has brought us unto Him who is the most holy. Therefore we live, move and have our being in the most holy place at all times.

Paul prayed that everyone would live in God, in His presence and flow with His glorious power and might. We need to see ourselves as children of God who are blessed with every spiritual blessing.

This means we will reflect God's image and bear fruits that reflect God. We will not reflect satan's image nor his works.

The light of God is in us ready to reveal all truth when we are ready to receive it. Revival does not come because we want it. Revival will flow out at obedience.

Let us get ready by living in God, bringing our hearts, minds and our lives in alignment with Christ Jesus, our Lord and King.
