Isaiah 14:13 NKJV
For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;
Isaiah 14:13 NKJV
The scriptures reveal to us that the enemy, satan, desires to take hold of the position we have received in Christ Jesus. In Christ we are seated with Him in the heavenly places while satan now bites the dust.
There are a lot of counterfeits that the enemy has created coming close to the True North, so that he can deceive people into believing something that looks like God but it is not.
This is why it is so important for us as believers to know our True North, which is Jesus Christ. He is the compass of our lives, for He is the way, He is the truth and He is the life.
No matter how close, how similar it looks like, and no matter how good it sounds, if it is not Jesus, then it is counterfeit.
The ultimate directions for our lives as believers are living IN JESUS as He is. Going out from that place is falling short of the True North where the enemy is waiting.
There are clearly only two ways, and there is no other. It is either Jesus and His kingdom or satan and his. We have a choice to make, and it has to fall into either one of these, and there is no other zone to stand on.
Seeking God and His kingdom as our first priority, our first assignments in life are vital for us to remain in Jesus Christ and to remain on course.
Any messages that take us out of Christ, any messages that are against what Christ has done for us and any messages that bring us away from our identity in Christ are not our True North.
For too long the enemy sits on the congregation of people and manipulates them to believe a false north, giving them substitutes, replacing God and His word.
This is why it is important that we as believers stand firm and strong in the finished work of Christ and defend our identity and faith that is in Christ Jesus.
Let us rise up and encourage one another to live in Christ, move in Christ and have our being in Christ all the days of our lives.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
