Acts 4:9 NKJV

If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,

Acts 4:9 NKJV

The healing of the lame man was Peter and John's first miracle. They bear the protest from the religious people over this marvellous deed, yet it caused multitudes to praise the living God.

They were brought to be judged for their deeds by the Pharisees and the religious leaders who stood against something that was of God.

Peter and John did not back away from praying for the sick, and they certainly did not slow down; instead, they continued to speak the truth with boldness.

Don't be amazed if the so-called Christians are the ones to object to you doing a good work for Christ. Don’t be dismayed by the accusations that will come from the inside.

We need to be strong and very courageous to keep fighting the good fight of faith and to FINISH the race.

We must not become an obstacle to the work of God, but rather be the ones to expand the kingdom of God.

Yes, we will be tested, challenged and even accused, but we must stand firm until the end, for the Lord is faithful and He has prepared everything before we even began.

We need to know that not everyone is going to be happy with us when we serve the Lord.

But like Peter and John, we must continue the work of Christ and continue to finish the race.

We have been given a Name above all other names.

We have been given authority, power and dominion. It is time to run the race well, be a good soldier and a great farmer that brings in a hundredfold harvest.

So let us all rise up in faith, encourage ourselves in the Lord and keep moving forward into the greatness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Live in the blessings

Ps Ambrose.
