Galatians 5:10 NKJV

I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.

Galatians 5:10 NKJV

Paul assured the Galatians of their confidence in the truth of the gospel of Christ that they had heard from Paul. This is because there are many teachers who are bringing people into carnality instead of living out Christ.

What Paul taught us is to focus on Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This means every understanding of scriptures needs to be concluded in the finished work of Christ, and if we don't do that, we will fall short of God's glory.

Everyone who pulls people away from standing and living in the finished work of Christ will be held accountable by God.

Therefore, we must know Christ's accomplishment for all mankind. It is vital to know the place Christ has placed us in Him.

In Genesis, God asked Adam, "Where are you?" God was not asking this question to find out Adam's physical location God sees all things and knows everything. God asked Adam to point to him so he realised that he had moved from his position of sonship to slavery.

Today, Jesus is asking this same question to His children. "Where are you, my children?"

Why have we moved away from standing and living in Him?

Why take the fallen nature when I have given you the new nature?

Why stand in your weakness when I have given you my strength?

Why live like a slave to sin when I have made you as kings and priests of the Lord?

This is what Paul warned the Galatians believers, not to depart from the truth and not to be troubled by those who speak against it.

So we need to stand firm, not in the doctrines and teachings of man that gratify the flesh. Instead, we are to stand strong in the grace of God and in the power of His resurrection.

Let us live life firm in Christ, knowing our position, our inheritance and our purpose in His kingdom.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
