Genesis 13:17 NKJV
Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”
Genesis 13:17 NKJV
After Lot, Abraham's nephew chose the plain of Jordan and it was well watered everywhere, Abraham trusted God for His portions.
Even though it looked like Lot got the best pie on the plate but the blessings of the Lord and trusting in Him produced an inheritance that is beyond measure.
Lot's land and his possessions were all destroyed but Abraham's land and possessions continued.
God spoke to Abraham to arise, walk in the land through its length and width for God said "I GIVE IT TO YOU".
When men choose, it vanishes away but when God gives, it remains. Today we can choose to follow what our senses tell us, people's opinions, the wise according to the world or we can remain in God and trust in His promises.
We know that God's promises will not pass away yet how much effort are we taking to invest in them. To be living in God's fullness is to know Him and we get to know God through His word revealed by His Spirit.
The word of God revealed by natural understanding can become a stumbling block to the supernatural understanding of who God is and what God has purposed for our lives.
God's word needs to be revealed by the Teacher Himself, God the Holy Spirit who lives and abides in us. The reason for God sending the Holy Spirit is to teach us, reveal to us what Christ has accomplished and how He wants us to live.
Saul before Paul had all the knowledge of the book but lost sight of the truth that is Jesus Christ. God does not have dual personalities, He is One manifested in three different ways to relate to us and to be in us.
Therefore, let us arise in the revelation that God the Holy Spirit has revealed and step out in faith to walk according to His word.
