The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Isaiah 60:3 NKJV

This passage speaks of the transforming power of God that will take place in the world through God's children.

It is important to note that God's glorious power does not come directly from God to earth but from God to His children whom God has appointed as His vessel to shine forth His glory.

The people who do not know Jesus as their Saviour will come to the light of God that shines through His children.

This chapter begins with the truth for us to ARISE and SHINE for the light HAS COME and the glory of the Lord HAS risen UPON you.

If the people of God do not believe that the light has come and are still waiting, praying, begging God for the light to come then God's people will never rise. Therefore, they cannot shine God's glory the way God has purposed.

God has set His children to be the light of God in this world but if we do not believe that the light HAS come, we are not going to rise and shine for Jesus.

Nations are waiting to see the light, tribes and tongues are waiting for the children of God to rise and shine God's light for them to see.

Jesus has become the light of men, as it is written in John 1:4-5, and it is meant for us to shine His light in the world.

We need to come to an understanding that there is nothing more to wait from God to shine His light. We should not fall into the religious belief system by asking God what He has already given.

Instead, we must rise up in His light and shine forth His truth to the world. We don't look at our limitations but we look at God's abundance.

Let us make the choice to believe in God that we have become the light to shine His glory and power.
