II Chronicles 20:15 NKJV
And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
II Chronicles 20:15 NKJV
When the people of God were surrounded by a great multitude of the army, the Spirit of the Lord spoke through Jahaziel that the battle is not theirs but God's.
This can put to rest every form of anxiety, stress, worry or panic because the end of that battle is victory on our side. For God has won it before the fight begins.
The key to the manifestation of that victory lies in the fact that they followed God and His directions. They turned not to their own understanding, nor to their own strategies, but turned completely to seeking God.
Though the victory has been won before the fight, we must make sure we don't sell out God's victory by our disobedience and doing our own thing.
The victory is delivered to the people in an envelope called obedience. Every miracle, every breakthrough and every blessing is received through obedience.
We serve a Mighty God, who is all-powerful and glorious, yet God's blessings cannot be received in disobedience. It is not about being perfect in ourselves but humbling ourselves to His perfection and receiving as the Lord has prepared.
Seek God and walk in His ways, hear His word and do them, worship Him and remain in Him all the days of our lives.
No matter how scary the enemy may look like, no matter how big the situation may be, we need to be convinced that the victory has already been won by Jesus Christ for us.
Let us remain steadfast in Christ, live in obedience and glorify God through every season in our lives.
Blessings,
