Galatians 6:17 NKJV
From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
Galatians 6:17 NKJV
Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ, said that let no one trouble him, for he bears in his body the marks of the Lord. Paul is so dedicated, focused, persistent and consistent in preaching the finished work of Christ.
Paul has taken lashes, been persecuted, stoned and left almost to die for the sake of the truth in Christ.
Nothing is going to shake Paul or shake His trust in Christ, no matter what people have believed or are believing in. Paul did not take in the religious belief but pressed on towards the upward call of God for his life.
Paul did not give up the truth of God just because he was persecuted.
He did not bow down to the philosophies of the religious belief but stood steadfast in Christ.
Paul did not intend to live a normal life that everyone had in his time. He gave his life to preaching and teaching the gospel of Christ.
How confident are we in what Christ has done?
How assured are we in what Christ HAS accomplished? How do we value the perfect redemption that Christ has given to us?
These are important questions that will help us navigate our lives to the truth of what Christ HAS ESTABLISHED.
Paul gave his life to defend the work of Christ so that we can live in the fullness of Jesus our Lord. We are to grow in the knowledge of His glory and love.
Let us not dwell in our flesh which always speaks of what we don't have. It leads us to begging and crying out to God as if He has not done anything but rather let is dwell where God has placed us in Christ which has clothed us with all sufficiency.
Blessings,
Ps. Ambrose
