Luke 6:49 NKJV

But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

Luke 6:49 NKJV

This is so important for all who believe in Jesus to be reminded of what Jesus has said.

Jesus said, if we hear His word, know what has been laid, have gather the information on how to do it, and yet NOT build their lives accordingly with it they will not stand the test of time.

Many blame God.

Many blame their leaders, and blame others when they themselves neglect the laying of the bricks on the foundation Jesus has already laid.

Today, believers like new information, like to be knowledgeable with scriptures, but the last instructions they have received

have not taken any roots in any area of their lives.

Many believers want to build on prophecies, build on encouragement and love, which is needed, but if all those do not turn into constructing our lives according to what Jesus has laid, we will be shaken when the storms hit our lives.

Jesus laid the foundation, paid for all construction materials, but Jesus is not going to take the bricks, the pillars, the sand, the cement, and the water and build it for us.

That is our job, which God gave mankind to do because He gave us the freedom of choice. It is our decision to build our lives with His provision on the foundation He has laid.

This is what Paul emphasised that believers should take heed of how they build their lives on this foundation, giving diligence in building their lives.

Let us not be hearers only, but take all that God has provided and lay brick by brick until we start shining the fullness of God's glory.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
