I Corinthians 6:1 NKJV
Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
I Corinthians 6:1 NKJV
Paul warned believers not to bring issues against each other to be judged by an ungodly system that does not uphold Godly values.
Usually, the result of the judgement will be given in accordance with the core values of that government.
What Paul brought to the believers' attention was that the saints are better judges, not because they are better than others, but because believers judge according to God's value and according to what Christ has laid for all mankind.
This says a lot about what we carry as believers in Christ. This also means that we as believers carry within ourselves the answers to all the issues in the world.
We are called to be the light and salt of the earth. Preserving and shining the right path is part of our responsibility as believer's in Christ.
This leads us back to the knowledge of what Christ has given so that we can start believing in His word to produce such wisdom and understanding.
The first step is to acknowledge what Jesus has given to us so that we can start believing for the manifestation of God's image and His likeness every day.
Christ judgment is mercy. While we were sinners Christ died for us. Mercy triumph over judgement.
Therefore, we are called to consider God above all else in every aspect of our lives to judge according to Christ mercy.
Let us remember what Christ has bestowed upon us and use it to bring resolution with a right judgement.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
