Matthew 8:11 NKJV

And I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 8:11 NKJV

This is a powerful yet sad statement that Jesus had to make. One statement opens the door for the non- Jew to enter heaven, which is great news and the other is about those who are disqualified because they hold on to heritage, rituals, and performance to get to heaven instead of believing in Jesus.

Jesus made a clear statement to all: we are justified by faith in the works of Christ that He has completed.

Many may believe in the complete work of Christ but still pray prayers as if Christ has not completed the work. They still cry out for more love when perfect love has been poured out for all mankind.

We cannot be confident and we cannot anchor our faith if we continually shift from faith to works and works back to faith.

We need to stand strong in the justification by faith and in all that Christ has laid for all mankind.

It is important we check our thoughts and bring them into alignment to the truth Jesus has accomplished.

We don't align ourselves to our experiences, our achievements, or even to the miracles we have received but we align ourselves with the truth which displays His likeness and His image.

Let us examine our hearts and minds. Remove everything that is resting on works and build ourselves in the light of God's glory.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
