Luke 2:2 NKJV
This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria.
Luke 2:2 NKJV
Luke added these words in his writing showing that the people in authority make some rules that may be a discomfort, a challenge, and a problem for so many but it played an important part in fulfilling scriptures.
This census have made Joseph to go back to Bethlehem for Jesus to be born there.
The conclusions of all that happens in the world will eventually end up fulfilling the scriptures. All will have to end up establishing God's plan and purpose.
For this census to take place, there was a man who may not even have known what was to come, or he may have done it for their own benefit.
There are yielded people of God, rebellious people against God, liars, honest people, stingy, generous, hateful people, manipulative, good people; nevertheless, all will bow to fulfilling the precious word of the Living God.
Living by the precious word of the living God is living in victory and living life fulfilling God's plans.
We must not be shaken by what is happening in and around the world but we must anchor ourselves in Christ. Remain in Him and be led by His Spirit every day.
Don't worry about the people who take advantage of us. As long as we are in Christ, the advantage is at work for us and not against us.
Joseph was sold, bought by the merchant, and transported him by caravan to become one of the most influential men in Egypt.
Joseph was not shaken by the circumstances but he was so assured of God and His promises.
We too must be assured of God who knows us, sanctified us, and has ordained us before the foundation of the world.
All is secure in Him.
All will be well through Him and all will manifest at the end according to His purpose.
Let us be confident for He who has begun a good work in us has completed it on that cross so that we can walk in it all the days of our lives.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
