James 1:3 NKJV
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
James 1:3 NKJV
When we understand the purpose of the test, it becomes a powerful force to remain patient and to stay on course.
Patience is a product of knowing the expected outcome, knowing what the result is at the end. Therefore, we will hold on till the end no matter what takes place in between.
What we believe and our faith will be put to test. The real test is not about passing the test itself but it is about how deeply we have anchored ourselves in the truth of God's word.
Everything we believe will go through a test. It will come in different forms, through a word contradicting the word we have received, circumstances that will provoke us to speak against what we have believed, or a situation that comes up to say it cannot be done.
Knowing God and being confident that what He has said will manifest gives us the patience to wait till it is fully materialised.
What God has spoken, what God has given, and what Christ has finished for us on that Cross is for us to live in. Is there anything coming against that?
Is our conversation still in line with God's word or bending towards the circumstances? These are important things for us to check to see how deeply we have anchored ourselves.
Knowing God and having that in our mind consciously will help us deepen our anchor in Christ's finished work.
Patience is not a gift to wait. It is a gift to remain in peace, assurance, and knowledge that it is already done when everything else is screaming a different report.
Let us strengthen our faith in Christ's finished work by deepening our anchor in Him.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
