As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

This is an amazing truth about Jesus that will help us understand how to live like Him in this world. Jesus acknowledged that the Father KNOWS Him.

Christ lived His life here on earth out of the assurance that the Father knows Him. A good Father who knows the end from the beginning and who is the source of everything.

This relationship Jesus has with His Father places Him in a position of assurance, confidence, authority, and power. We have never seen Jesus doubt or fall sick, but only handed over His life with His own authority.

Jesus said that He has many things to say but will only say what His Father would say. Jesus had to have a close relationship with His Father to know what to say and do.

Jesus saves the lost out of that relationship. Jesus healed and delivered people from infirmities out of that relationship. Jesus did everything out of His relationship with His Father.

Jesus said that the Father in Him does all the works. They lived as one. Jesus as the body and His Father as the Head.

Today the only best way for us to serve the Lord and fulfill the great commission is from the place of KNOWING Jesus and having a continuous relationship with Him.

We have a relationship not with the intention to serve Him but to really know Him and follow His heartbeat. Many want to seek God so that they can serve effectively. They seek God so that they can function better in the gifts.

Those are good intentions but they have missed the mark. Knowing Jesus is about building a bond, in love, to become one in mind and heart.

This is so that our actions will become who we really are in Him. We no longer do something for Jesus but become Jesus for everything.

Our Father, God the Son Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit know us through and through. It is time that we start to KNOW Him.
