Mark 9:13 NKJV
But I say to you that Elijah has also come, and they did to him whatever they wished, as it is written of him.”
Mark 9:13 NKJV
When the disciples asked about the questions the scribes asked about the coming of Elijah. Jesus said Elijah has come and they did to him as it was written.
It was John the baptist, but thought they waited for Elijah, they did not follow his instructions. They questioned him and found ways to disqualify him.
As believers in Christ, we too must be careful not to fall into the trap as the Scribes and Pharisees. They waited but did not see, they taught but could not live out and they knew about rest but could not enter into that rest.
Christ has established a new government that is of His kingdom for us to live in. He has given all authority and power for us to reign with Him.
But many are still waiting on the promises, praying for the promises that Christ has fulfilled. He has already given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness.
We will miss out to live in His glorious power and love if we are waiting for it to come. We also will become critical with those who preach and teach about the complete work of Christ here on earth.
Christ is seated on His throne of rest from all that is needed to be done. He has placed His word with us to take and produce His nature here through our lives.
During the early days of believers in the book of Acts, people who were not believers of Christ called those who believe as Christians. Because they were living in the power just like Jesus.
They carried authority over sickness, disease, demons and saw chains broken supernaturally.
We are blessed with every spiritual blessing, what we do with that blessing is very important. It will either stay dormant or active.
Let us activate all that Christ has placed in us and walk like Him on this earth.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
