Mark 9:5 NKJV
Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”
Mark 9:5 NKJV
Peter, James, and John had a glorious experience to behold Jesus transfigured, seeing Christ in His Spirit-formed.
Peter, James, and John saw the divine image of Christ, but they fell backward to what was familiar because they were afraid.
They wanted to build an earthly altar when Christ intended to set up a supernatural one. They fell backward into what they know is traditional, instead of seeking God on how to move forward supernaturally.
We cannot build new structures on an imperfect foundation. The old covenant which was meant for temporary relief should not be our foundation.
Jesus Christ and all that He has established must be our foundation as we move forward to live in His divine nature.
What are we building today?
On what foundation are we standing today as believers in Christ?
We must acknowledge that moving forward in the spirit cannot be guided by what we know in the past but trust God the Holy Spirit to lead us into His plans.
We must not fear but anchor our lives in Christ with confidence knowing that all will be well at the end.
Let us lay aside our experiences and our earthly wisdom and follow God's Spirit to lead us from glory to glory.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
