And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

When the paralytic man was brought in to be healed, Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven." The scribes said this man blasphemes.

The reason the scribes said this man blasphemes is because for forgiveness to take place, an offering needs to be made.

Jesus is the offering for the sins of all mankind. When this man receives the forgiveness of sins, he can pick up his bed and walk.

This man's healing is in receiving the forgiveness that Christ brings.

When we receive Jesus into our lives, we receive the forgiveness of our sins. What does sin produce? Sin produces confusion, bondage, sickness, hurts, resentments, anxieties, weaknesses, and makes one a child of satan.

What does receiving Jesus and forgiveness produce? It produces a sound mind, liberation, healing, unspeakable joy, peace, obedience, faithfulness, assurance, confidence, boldness, and above all, a child of the Living God.

If we can believe that we have been forgiven of our sins, then we should also receive everything forgiveness brings.

People underestimate the power of forgiveness and what it carries. It is the power to live in the fullness of Christ.

We must learn to receive everything Christ brings through His forgiveness. We are forgiven and that is the reason why we can declare we are healed, restored, and blessed in Christ Jesus.

Do we believe that just as we have been forgiven, we also have received everything that forgiveness carries?

Let us start believing in the full power of the forgiveness Christ has brought to all mankind.
