I Corinthians 3:21 NKJV
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:
I Corinthians 3:21 NKJV
Paul taught the people not to exalt man or boast about them, for all are equally called, equally appointed, and equally set apart.
Paul directed their attention to the treasure that God has placed in each one of us through Christ. We all have what the great men and women of God have.
The only difference is that the mighty men and women of God simply worked out God's might, power, love, and grace that is in them.
Others are working out their troubles, sorrows, and their setbacks in life, which only make things worse.
If we honour people who walk with God and we see them as our mentor, our example is good. It should propel us to bring out the things of God that are within us.
We must not idolise people who are serving the Lord effectively but follow their effective example to bring out God's kingdom that is within us.
When our eyes are only on what people are doing and how they are serving the Lord, we might lose sight of what we should be doing and may not cultivate what God has put into our lives.
We need to take time to develop the gifts, talents, and the abundance God has put into our lives. They are there to be used to administer healing, love, life, grace, and peace.
We must lift our eyes to see Jesus as our mirror every day to DO what He did and follow His example. Jesus is our PERFECT example to walk in this world.
Let us bring ourselves daily and see what and how we can develop God's gift today.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
