For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Jesus starts off by saying that if anyone desires to come after Him must deny himself. Then Jesus said if we want to save it, we will lose it but if we are willing to lose it for His sake, we will save it.

This is important for us to understand between earthly natural life born of a woman and a supernatural life born of the Spirit.

If we hold on to our life that is subject to carnality, then we will be under that influence and eventually all these things in this realm will pass away.

This is the familiar ground that all mankind are comfortable with and struggle to let go. Not because it is impossible to do it but because their mind, action and pattern of life have been set to deal only with natural things.

If we choose to believe in the life that Jesus has given, we set our lives for eternity, equiped with supernatural power and will never pass away. This is an unfamiliar ground to the old mindset.

Therefore, we need to start renewing our mind to the principles of the kingdom that Christ has brought, start to live by His principles and in the law of His Spirit.

The moment we start to transition from the earthly dimension to a supernatural dimension, then we will automatically start losing our old life and will kick start to live in the new life we have received.

As long as we try to hold on to our old life, we can never experience the full effect of the new life Christ has given.

Losing our old life for Christ sake will become exciting, empowering and uplifting. Because it brings us up to a new level of dimension in confidence, assurance and power to live.

Let us keep living in the fullness of Christ and keep seeing His kingdom through His Spirit.
