Jude 1:8 NKJV

Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.

Jude 1:8 NKJV

Jude wrote to remind all believers to earnestly contend to keep the faith that we have received from Christ because the enemy intends to destroy the truth that sets people free.

Jude stated that this faith was given to the saints once for all. Therefore, it is important that we guard the truth that Christ has done for all mankind.

People come in the flesh to exalt the desire of the flesh, to gratify themselves with what they like, to make evil good and good to look evil.

In many ways, we are living in the midst of all these things today. Turning deception into laws to push people to stand against God in a subtle way.

We have to be diligent and alert not to let the enemy take away our true joy and peace that Christ has bestowed upon us.

We as a church need to go back to the root and revisit the foundation that Jesus had laid. This is because we have built so many false ways, thinking it is part of God's kingdom.

We need to come back to what Christ has established for His church that He has built with His death and His resurrection.

We need to uphold Christ and His works, teaching and encouraging each other to build our lives in what Christ Jesus has done for us.

We need to change our mindset to realign back to Jesus and His works. We need to remove words from our mouths that are contrary to what Jesus has done for us.

These are steps we need to take to ensure our next generation can continue to live out the power-filled life that Jesus has given to all.

Let us hold fast our confession, live in Christ, and be led by His Spirit.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
