Hebrews 10:37 NKJV
“For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
Hebrews 10:37 NKJV
The Hebrew writer encouraged the persecuted believers, urging them to hold fast to their faith and endure the persecution that came their way.
Highlighting that the time of suffering will come to an end and eternity will be waiting for those who endure till the end.
A passage that speaks of the Old Testament prophecies in Isaiah and in Habakkuk shows us that Christ is going to come and end all the suffering.
Every believer who breathes his last on earth will enter eternity forever and every believer who is still living when Christ comes again will be caught up with Him into glory.
Either way, we are called to endure whatever comes our way so that we will not give up our faith because of persecution.
Those who build themselves in the Lord and in His word, living in relationship with God and being led by His Spirit will endure every formality of persecution.
Therefore, we must not wait for the storm to come before building our life in God. Start building our lives now while it is still calm and good.
Take every opportunity to strengthen our faith in Christ by knowing Him and the power He has bestowed upon us.
The Word of God tells us the days of darkness will continue to rise but the children of God will rise greater. As God's children, we will be walking in a dimension that this generation has never seen.
We who believe in Jesus are the candidates for His glory to be revealed. Let us stand strong, hold fast our confession that Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
