Romans 8:35 NKJV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:35 NKJV
Here Paul emphasised the greatest power that is at work in our lives which is God's love. Provoking every believer to think about what they have received from Christ is far more powerful than all the challenges we go through every day.
Shall tribulation, distress or persecution separate us? Yet many have gone astray, even pastors and leaders have grown cold and disheartened. Because they considered the persecution, distress and tribulations above the power of God's love.
A person who has the full armour not necessarily can be protected unless that person have put it on correctly to take on the blows that comes their way.
This power of God's love which is the greatest holds everything together for us. Because of God's love for us, we have been given all things pertaining to life and godliness.
Because of God's love, we have been saved, healed and delivered. Because of His love, we have escaped death which is the penalty of sin.
This is the reason Paul later on says that WE ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.
This is because of God's love towards His children.
This is the most powerful power that is available for all mankind, given freely through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We will no longer walk in shame, lack, sick or an open target for the enemy to hurt us. For we are fully covered in His love.
The greatest is love because it was God's love towards mankind that brought all of heaven in us.
Let us acknowledge God's love above all that come our way and never take our eyes off Him.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
