For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 5:5 NKJV
Paul drew a distinctive difference between those who understand what it means to confess Jesus is their Lord and Saviour and those who have no understanding of what it means to follow Christ.
This is not about losing your salvation but it is about missing out on living out the life of power with authority and the full blessings of the Lord.
People don't realise living a sinful life is adding more pain to self, it brings more confusion to our souls and leaves a person in a far worse state than before.
Therefore we are not able to enjoy the inheritance God had prepared for all of His children to have here on earth. There are rewards for obedience after our life here on earth and there are blessings God has pronounced over us to enjoy here on earth.
Every action that is sinful is a seed that will grow and begin to take over our emotion and will. When it does take full control then people will start to deny Jesus as their Lord and they lose their salvation.
Every person has a choice to be saved by following Jesus Christ and they also have a choice to deny.
Therefore it is wise for us who believe in Jesus to live in the truth, in all that God had prepared that gives us complete satisfaction, peace, love and rest.
Living in God and walking in His ways are such a privilege and honour. That each one has been called into the family of God. Those who understand it will never go near to giving their life to sin.
Let us live in this life that God had prepared, full of His glory, an adventure of walking into one blessings after another, overcoming one giant after another and be filled with the fullness of God.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
