Luke 1:7 NKJV
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
Luke 1:7 NKJV
Zachariah and Elizabeth were a couple well advanced in age, and their righteousness was based on following the Lord's ordinances and commandments.
But they had no children; Elizabeth and Zachariah were praying and desiring to have a child.
Zachariah had an encounter while serving in the temple, and the angel of the Lord brought a word that his prayers were answered and he would have a son.
The angel of the Lord did not say that their observations of ordinances and following the commandments brought them to a place of the manifestation of a miracle.
But their desire and prayers to believe God for a child even when they were past the age of childbearing were answered.
The word that the angel brought to Zachariah was the start of conception, that her body starts to come alive to bring forth a child, John the Baptist.
Many believers still hope to receive a blessing by their good deeds, hoping to be pleasing to the Lord by their service and doing things to earn their favour.
The truth is that Jesus Christ our Lord is the manifested Word of God to all humanity.
When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we take on a new nature which is divine.
Everything within us has become righteous, acceptable and pleasing, blessed with every spiritual blessing.
We have received the word to bring to life every part of our being. The word of God (Jesus Christ) needs to become a personal revelation to us.
When that happens, everything within us will start to conceive and produce in our body what Christ has done in us in the spirit.
A life that is filled with miracles, signs, and wonders was not just for the few elect but for ALL WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS.
Few are walking in that dimension because they have believed the report of the Lord and know the power that the Lord has given to them.
They act upon what Christ has given and have seen the manifestation of that power.
Let us know Jesus beyond just fulfilling duties, but desire to know Jesus by the power of His Spirit and live in that revelation knowledge.
Live in that revelation,
