Acts 22:4 NKJV
I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women,
Acts 22:4 NKJV
Paul gave account of the zeal and passion he had once before his encounter with the Lord. Persecuting the believers.
Yet when enlightenment came to him, when he had an encounter with the Lord Jesus, all of his knowledge changed, all of his passion changed, and all of his life directions turned from against Christ to for Christ till his last breath.
Paul's influence has brought believers in Christ to prison, to be beaten, and even to death. Yet one encounter is what he had that changed the story of his life.
No one can stand against the love and power of God. No hardness of heart or hard-headedness can fight against the compassionate love of Christ.
The believers in Acts is one that believed the impossible, focused on living out Jesus everyday and prayed in unity for the expansion of God's kingdom.
There is a possibility of miracles when we believe the impossible to be possible, and the unchangeable begin to change.
When believers choose to believe, things begin to happen. Prison doors swing open. Rising from being beaten and stoned, yet rising and continuing to preach the message of Christ.
There is so much power that is within us to change situations and circumstances around us.
We must not look at how big and strong the situation or circumstances are, but look at how big and great is our Lord, God Almighty who resides in us by His Spirit.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, keep believing the impossible, and speak life to every situation that we face.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
