Titus 2:8 NKJV

sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

Titus 2:8 NKJV

Paul wrote to Titus, a young leader, coaching him to build his character so that he can reflect the image of Christ in every aspect of his life.

Titus lived among people who are filled with slander and skepticism need to know how to restrain from that influence yet boldly display the character of Christ.

Here Paul taught Titus about the choice of words to communicate the truth. Titus must not say anything that will bring condemnation but an encouragement to build lives.

For the ultimate goal is not to be the winner of the arguments but that souls get saved, built up in the Spirit of God and live in the blessings of the Lord.

When our words are used to build people and bring encouragement for their own benefits. There will be less rejection to our leadership.

As ministers of God's grace and His love. We find ways to bring people into God's fullness. Being patient with people who are slow to see or understand because ONCE WE WERE in that same situation.

As we thank God for His grace that flowed through the people who helped us be where we are today. We should be extending the same grace to everyone.

So we have to take head over every word that comes out of our mouth, it must not come out of frustration, anger, disappointment or pain.

We are to learn to bring everything in God's love and grace so that the hearer will have a chance to receive it without any hindrances.

Therefore it is important how we use our words to communicate the truth of God. Our words can give life to the people we speak to.

Let us build our character, harness our tongue and bring everything into alignment with God's heart for His own children to live in the blessings.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
