The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?

John 4:11 NKJV

The woman who was at the well came to the well to meet her natural, temporal needs. Jesus said to her that if she knew who it was who was asking her for water, she would ask Him instead, and He would give her the living water.

But all she could see in the natural was that Jesus had nothing in His hand to draw the water. She did not realise that Jesus is that living water, and it is through Him that every thirsty soul would be satisfied.

When she realised that Jesus, the One who spoke to her, was the Messiah, she received Him and invited the people in her village to meet Jesus.

Looking at the natural and trying to meet our true hunger and thirst from natural resources would not bring lasting satisfaction.

Jesus is not just the Giver of life; HE IS LIFE for all mankind. Jesus does not just create miracles; He is the miracle for all humanity.

We who have Jesus in our lives no longer need to look for holiness, no longer look for anointing, no longer need to do good deeds to be saved.

We who have Jesus in our lives just need to start living out the holiness and anointing and do all the good deeds because that is what Christ has made us to be.

Many are still praying to get from Jesus some answers when He is the answer to all our questions and needs.

When we acknowledge that Christ, the all-sufficient One, the answer to all, the One who Has provided all the blessings we need, the way, the truth, and the life, we will start living out Jesus every day and bring glory to His Name in every single action we take.

Let us not move away from our inheritance, our rights, and our position in Christ Jesus, but live Jesus every day.
