(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),

Paul explained that God's plans and purposes are not based on races, personalities, people group or by their status. God's plan and purpose are based on one thing, which is His word.

If God's purpose is according to people group then God has failed because many Jews have rejected Christ as the Messiah.

Abraham believed the word of God and held on to that word till the end that brought forth the fulfilment of God's promise.

Every person who believes in Jesus and His complete work will have the ability to fulfil God's perfect plans in their lives.

Here we can see that all are called according to what God has ordained before any good deeds or bad deeds are done.

We are not chosen by our actions but by God and those who confess Jesus as Lord become the chosen ones. We become the elected of God by following Jesus and all that He had prepared.

The provision for our calling has been provided for it will manifest when we take the first step of faith just like Abraham did.

We are going to fulfill God's perfect plans by living from the provision Christ has placed in us.

All God wants from us is to live in Christ, listen to Him, follow His direction and be led by His Spirit.

As an elect of God, let us continue to walk with boldness knowing that we have been chosen to fulfill our assignments here on earth.
