Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 3:1 NKJV

The writer of Hebrews addressed and encouraged the Jewish believers who have been faithful to believe in Christ in the midst of religious influences.

Here the writer starts off by highlighting who they have become in Christ Jesus. Holy brethren speaks of their new nature that they have in Christ.

This is so important for us to know that Christ HAS made us holy. Our spirit has become one with Christ. Therefore,

we are holy as a Spirit being.

Our soul and body, on the other hand, need to be renewed daily according to who we are in the spirit.

As partakers of the heavenly calling, we are to take all our heavenly provision and to start changing our mindset, changing our words, and begin to see ourselves in the likeness of Christ.

Looking unto Jesus, who walked in the flesh as a divine man, full of God and power to establish the Father's will here on earth.

We too are called to live as Christ lived, to walk as a divine man or woman of God here in this world and to accomplish all that our Heavenly Father has prepared.

In everything we do, we need to consider Jesus Christ, consider all that He has accomplished, consider all the payments He has made, and consider all the punishment He has taken on behalf of us.

Let us be strong and very courageous as holy people of God, as partakers of the divine nature who are called to display God's glory here on this earth.
