Romans 2:21 NKJV
You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?
Romans 2:21 NKJV
Paul addressed the religious teachers who imposed laws that they themselves could not keep, yet they spoke as if they could fulfil them all.
The religious leaders are hypocrites. They judge, criticise and measure people but do not live pleasing before the Lord.
Paul taught us that the only way to live pleasing before the Lord is not by judging who have lived more righteous but to live a surrendered life according to Christ's perfect sacrifice.
It is a call to end all performance and start living out the truth. To live in a state of being blessed, healed, anointed and empowered in Christ our Lord.
We should look at each other and value each other as Christ has valued us and given His life for us. Whatever we do for others, we are sowing the seeds for ourselves.
If we sow good things to others, we will be reaping good things from others. If we choose to live out Christ and reflect Him to others, we are going to experience the same effect from others.
We should be leading by example, showing the care Jesus has shown us. There will be no hypocrisy when we choose to live out Christ's loving and caring attributes.
Let us therefore serve one another with respect, doing our best to shine forth the love of Jesus to each other.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
