Ephesians 2:19 NKJV
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
Ephesians 2:19 NKJV
Paul says that we are no longer strangers with regard to the kingdom of God.
The spiritual principles and the power should be a normal, everyday part of believers' lives.
As citizens, we have legal rights that are of heaven attached to every one of us. Provision had been made by the government of heaven that we, as sons and daughters, can live according to its principles.
When we have a king who has given His life for His people and called them His own. This citizenship is one that is far and above, without comparison to any other citizenship of a country.
This means we have joined an eternal fellowship. We have passed from death into eternal life and are reigning with Christ over everything on earth.
Each one of us is a representative of His kingdom, His nature, His love, His grace and everything that is according to His image and likeness.
We have the ability to live and function as the supernatural child of the living God, changing our world according to what Christ has established.
How many of us live life according to the principles of the kingdom of God, apply kingdom power and speak as citizens of God's kingdom?
These rights are ours to live by, but if we don't know, we will miss out on the benefits that our Father in heaven have set for us through Christ.
The word of God says my people perish for lack of knowledge. It is important to know what our state of being in Christ is and what we have been given as citizens of heaven.
We are citizens of the most powerful kingdom, and we have the most effective protection. He raised up each one to sit with Him in the heavenly places to rule and reign with Him.
It is wise for us to get to know Christ our Saviour and what we have become in Him.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
