Ephesians 1:16 NKJV

do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:

Ephesians 1:16 NKJV

Pauls sets an example of a heart of gratitude for each other who labour in the kingdom of God. He did not cease to give thanks for the believers and their love for God.

This also highlights the life of thanksgiving that Paul cultivated as a minister of the Gospel. A shepherding heart to keep each one stirred up in God so that they can keep going strong for Jesus.

Paul understood the importance of praying for one another to walk deeper and mature in the Lord so that each one can live life in the dimension God had prepared for each one of us.

In this prayer, we also can see the heart of the father wanting the best for his fellow brethren in the Lord. It is a prayer that each one will live their fullest for the glory of God.

Lifting others above himself so the gospel of Christ can go far and beyond what he have accomplished.

Paul's prayers of thanksgiving carries a spiritual atmosphere, transforming hearts and stirring them up to go deeper in God.

A thankful heart opens up a way for all to grow spiritually with such freedom and love.

We too as ministers of God's grace and love, create this atmosphere in our home, our community and in our churches so that everyone will have the spiritual lift to rise up for God.

Let us keep giving thanks for one another especially those who are ministering the word of God. Be an encouragement to them to keep preaching the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
