John 3:11 NKJV
Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.
John 3:11 NKJV
Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus the concept of being born again as a new creation, of becoming a citizen of another kingdom governed by different principles.
But Nicodemus was trying to analyse things from the natural point of view. Therefore, he could not understand the spiritual meaning of what Jesus was saying to him.
Today, when we analyse things naturally without putting on Christ and without hearing from the Holy Spirit, we will come to a wrong conclusion about what Christ is trying to tell us.
Spiritual things cannot be discerned naturally but spiritually. It means to look through Christ's perspective as a spirit being and not a natural being.
As a spirit being, we are not limited by natural things. When a man and a woman marry, they become one flesh. We know there are two persons, yet the word says they have become one person.
In the spirit form, husband and wife become one in spirit. This is the picture that in Christ we have become one with Him in the spirit.
Therefore, in order to fully understand who we are in Christ, we cannot look at the word of God from a human perspective. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the scriptures from His perspective.
Many doctrines in the churches are standing against each other because people have taken things in a natural perspective and have left the body of Christ divided.
Doctrine is not going to unite us. What is going to unite us is when we all follow Jesus in the way He has presented us to our Father in heaven.
We need to understand who we have become in Christ. All things HAVE become NEW. It is not going to be new, it has become new.
Religion teaches them to become good. Christ has made and presented us as good children of the living God.
Let us live life from God's perspective, changing our natural world with the power and position Christ has placed in us.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
