Romans 8:33 NKJV

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Romans 8:33 NKJV

When we are charged guilty, we have to pay the price and then be set free from its bondage. Sometimes people may come and help out to pay for the wrong doings but ultimately it is the person responsible who have to bear the consequences for their sins.

But thanks be to God our Father in heaven who

has sent His Son Jesus Christ to not only pay for our sins but He also justified us. Just as we have not sinned.

This is a placement that God has set to gravitate us all towards Him in confidence, a state of being as a new creation that gives us a clean new start without a trace of our past. This is truly too good to be true news yet it is the truth.

We have God our Father on our side as the judge and we have Jesus Christ who paid for all of our sins. God did this so that we can come boldly to the throne of grace without condemnation.

Do we know that we are God's elect? Eklektos in Greek means to be chosen, elected and divinely chosen. It has nothing to do with our works but our acceptance to what Christ has done.

It is a choice that we have to make to live as God's elect every day. Our choices must reflect what Christ has done if we want to enjoy His benefits.

Let us live life as one who reflect as the elect of God that display Jesus, His power, His provision and His kingdom.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
