Matthew 6:28 NKJV

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

Matthew 6:28 NKJV

Jesus told His disciples not to worry about their daily needs, food and clothings. Whatever that may cause worry is not going to produce any good results. Instead, it will bring to a place of unbelief.

We do not worry because we have a Father who have prepared for us everything that we need pertaining to life and godliness.

Our Father in heaven is not going to prepare what we need when we need it. Our Father in heaven has prepared everything that we will ever need before the foundation of the earth.

To worry is to doubt God's mighty provision and to doubt His ability and His work that He has established for us in Christ.

To worry is to take our mind off the abundance of God and to set it upon the situation that we are in. This causes us to stand on our problems and it produces everything that is not of God.

But if we stand in Christ Jesus our Lord and in everything He has established for us, then we can enjoy the fullness of His blessings.

When doubt tries to creep in, start considering the beautiful creation of God and how God has supplied in every seed the power to generate new life.

Consider the provision God has made to clothe even the grass and birds in the air. This will help us to see how glorious is our Father in heaven.

Do we have the right vision of our Father in heaven? Do we know how much He loves us? Do we know what He has prepared for us?

When we know our Father, our worries will disappear. Therefore, let us keep our eyes on Him who loves us beyond what we could ever imagine.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
