Galatians 3:9 NKJV

Therefore, those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

Galatians 3:9 NKJV

Abraham is called the father of many nations not because he had something in him to produce but because he believed and put his trust in God who had promised.

Abraham believed that God is faithful and true, bringing about in his life what he could not achieve by his own strength. What Abraham believed is beyond the boundaries of the natural realm.

When he and his wife's age passed the age of childbearing and lost all possibilities in the natural, God's word brought forth the seed and quickened their natural bodies to produce the promised child.

Therefore, if we want to walk by faith and not by sight, we have to train our five senses to believe the impossible. Be willing to leap in faith to do something we have never done before and completely trust His leading.

Walking by faith demands that we don't look and decide from our carnal senses, statistics, or according to our circumstances.

Walking by faith would normally stand against the natural mind and against logical understanding.

Many hearts grow cold because our understanding is tempered by our carnality. When one gives attention to what is happening in their surroundings and moves away from the truth of God's word, they begin to sink into self-pity.

We are made by God in His image and likeness so that we can walk as imitators of God, as His dear children. We are made to make impossible things happen so that people can taste the goodness of God.

Therefore, let us walk by faith just like Abraham who walked trusting in the power and glory of God.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
