Matthew 24:5 NKJV
For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Matthew 24:5 NKJV
The disciples asked Jesus when the end time would come, and Jesus answered, saying, "Do not be deceived." Jesus's intention to give a warning in response to a question about wanting to know when the end would come was to bring the focus on the present and the responsibility we all have in Christ.
Christ is all in all. The past, present, and the future. The Alpha and Omega, the One who will come to judge the earth is in us now.
If we keep looking for something out there and for signs when we have everything in Christ, we are in danger of being deceived.
Those who look unto Jesus, live in the power of His resurrection, and who is going about the Father's business will not miss out on anything. Instead, they will be perfectly synchronised with His plans.
The enemy satan is already at work using the scriptures to twist and turn people away from what Christ has established for all mankind.
The enemy will draw people into observing rituals, following patterns, and doing what we used to do and believe what we used to believe, and miss out on living out the glorious life of Jesus here on this earth.
The enemy will keep the church busy looking for something out there in the name of God while the truth about Christ in us. The hope of glory is in us and not to be put aside.
Friends, what we need is found in Christ.
What we should do is found in Christ.
What our destiny and future are all found in Christ.
Therefore, we have all we need, all the answers, and our future is secured in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let us use all the energy, time, resources, and zeal in living the life of Christ every day.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
