King David had conversations with God Almighty and David understood who God is and what he can have in Him.

David knew the covenant that he had with God and he knew how to stand in it and apply it in his own life.

David sought the Lord according to the covenant made, and every time he followed God according to the covenant, he prospered.

Today we have a superior covenant through Christ our Lord. A covenant that HAS made us His own children, made us an heir of His kingdom, filled with His power, and at peace with the Father.

We don't need to look for His presence as we have become the temple where His Spirit dwells. We don't need to find pleasure for we have been placed in Him.

In the New Covenant that Jesus brought into our lives, we have what David longed for.

But how many are living according to the covenant Christ has brought into our lives?

How many are still living to find God, begging Him not to leave them, praying that He will help them, and asking Him to do something that He has ALREADY DONE?

Yet the majority of believers still live in the old covenant even though they confess Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

We need to learn to live in the new covenant that Jesus has established for all mankind so that our lives can be powerful and fruitful.

Let us start living in what Christ has established for all mankind and live in the covenant Jesus has established for us.
