Paul functioned as a New Testament prophet when the need arose, bringing correction to the people who were carried away by religious practices.

There is no fighting with the devils as much as fighting against religious leaders. They were people with influential religious backgrounds who began to draw the Corinthians believers to add works to their faith in Christ.

These leaders are drawing them away from the liberty Christ has purchased for all mankind. The most deceiving thing is that they do it in the name of the Lord.

Paul urges the believers to stay focus and Paul knew that they would overcome these hindrances. Paul also told them that the Lord will deal with those who keep speaking and stirring people to go against what Christ has established.

Therefore, let us keep our faith simple, believe Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives, He is our provision and we just follow Him.

Discard every religious performance.

Get into having a real relationship with Jesus Christ and in communication with God the Holy Spirit.

Get into learning to walk with Jesus every day, and converse with Him to make the right decision in life.

The truth that Christ is in us is able to keep us strong, secure, and bring about fruit if we keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting in His finished work.

Let us protect the truth, simply follow Jesus, and reflect Him in every area of our lives.
