Ephesians 4:18 NKJV
having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;
Ephesians 4:18 NKJV
Paul said that we must not live as those who do not have Jesus in their life. We must not live as one who carries the fallen image or the fallen nature.
What we have received in Christ is the life of God, illuminated in the glory of God and we live as children of God. We have become a citizen of heaven who glorifies Jesus as our King, Lord, and Saviour.
Do not have a mindset of the old. A mindset that as if Christ has not given anything, as if Christ has not completed His work on this earth, and a mindset still hoping for God to do something for mankind. That is carnally minded.
God is waiting for His church to take all that He has given, including the authority, the keys of His kingdom, His robe of righteousness, His power, and His love, and put them into action, so that what Christ has established can be lived out and fulfilled by His children.
The enemy does not want us to live in the life of God. The enemy satan wants our minds to remain darkened as before Christ so that he can keep it in control.
But we HAVE BEEN delivered from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His light. Therefore, we should not think like someone who does not have Jesus in their life.
Sadly many believers do not practice Christ but still speak, think, and live like someone powerless, without hope, and without peace.
We must change our
mindsets. We must not live like a victim but a victor. We must walk as children of God and not as the children of the earth.
We are to reflect God our Father, reflect His love and grace so that many will taste the goodness of God and be saved.
We need to be aware of what comes out of our mouths and align it with the image and likeness of Christ.
Let us continue to be strong and keep increasing, to walk as the children of the light every day, and let our lives reflect the power and glory of God.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
