Romans 12:10 NKJV

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;

Romans 12:10 NKJV

To apply the God kind of love towards one another and give preference to one another in the light of God's will is such a powerful picture of exercising the character of God in our lives.

We must be conscious to operate from God's kingdom and from God's principles. Therefore, we will have kingdom results in our lives and in one another.

What does it mean to love with the love of God? It is exactly as the scriptures reveal in 1 Corinthians 13:4 onwards. These are the characteristics of God who is love.

The world has its own definition of love, tolerating evil, and removing boundaries when they are not able to handle freedom, and allowing children to have their choices when they are not in their right mind to comprehend the impact it is going to have on their future.

God's love protects, shields, corrects, restrains, endures so the best can be applied for each other besides encouraging and uplifting those who are mature to move forward.

We honour one another for everyone is made in the image of God and we are all His children. We need to see beyond ourselves and see that we are part of God's big family.

To prefer one another is not to lose our place but to mature from our place to a greater level of service in the kingdom.

Those who elevate others to serve the Lord will be elevated by God from glory to glory. In short, in God's kingdom, everything we do whether to give or to receive, always goes higher and beyond in God.

Let us put into practice the character of God in loving, preferring, and encouraging one another in the Lord.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
