In these [sinful things] you also once walked, when you were habitually living in them [without the knowledge of Christ].

The Apostle Paul teaches the Colossians that all people are born with a consciousness of sin and without hope of redemption. However, in Christ, we are no longer defined by sin, but by the image of the Son of God.

Once, we were without hope, under bondage to sin, and addicted to its power. But now, through Christ, humanity has the choice to change their position and experience hope, redemption, and salvation.

In Christ, we can experience true liberty, love, joy, and peace and live a life pleasing to the Lord. Knowing Christ brings an understanding of our existence and purpose in life. Seeking Him and His kingdom will bring enlightenment, revealing all that God has prepared for us.

Let us seek Christ.

Let us put on Christ, and live out the abundance God has prepared for us, which was planned even before the foundation of the world.
