Genesis 3:12 NKJV
Then the man said, βThe woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.β
Genesis 3:12 NKJV
When God asked Adam, "Did you eat from the tree I told you not to eat?" Instead of saying "yes, Lord," Adam accused God, claiming it was the woman God had given him who had made him eat it.
Sounds like the world we live in today: no one wants to take responsibility and is always pointing fingers at others.
Christ has broken that curse by giving us His nature, which not only takes responsibility but also possesses the divine ability to fix what was broken in His Name.
After accusing God, Adam then replied that he ate of the tree. The tree speaks of the whole system, and the fruit was the result of that system.
Rebellion is a law of sin, and the end produces death. Adam chose to eat sin, chose to live out of the law of sin and death instead of living in the law of the Spirit and Life which Adam already had from God.
But Christ redeemed all that for all mankind, and by believing in Him, we can live in the law of the Spirit and Life that is in Christ Jesus.
This not only speaks of deliverance that we have received but also speaks of the authority, power, and dominion God had restored to all mankind in Christ.
Therefore, we who are born again in Christ Jesus have been freed and placed to rule and reign with Christ in this world.
Let us keep developing the Life of God by living in the Spirit of God every day and reign with Christ.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
