For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,

Hebrews 6:13 NKJV

It is a powerful assurance of God and what He had said. God swears by Himself because there is no one greater than Him.

When someone swears to do something for someone else, they don't realise that they can't really guarantee that.

This is because there are elements of nature, economics, higher authority, and laws that can rule out what we have sworn to do.

This is the reason Jesus teaches us not to swear at all, because we cannot really guarantee it. People who swear would usually end up making excuses for not fulfilling it.

But when God swears by Himself to bless Abraham, there is nothing that can change that decision because there is nothing higher or more powerful than God.

That is why Abraham can give Lot the first choice to choose the land when they grew in blessings until they had to separate.

Abraham's confidence was not in what the land could produce but in the Lord who had promised.

Abraham prospered, and there is nothing that can stop that prosperous life because GOD HAD SPOKEN.

In Christ we are now blessed with every spiritual blessing. His word has been released, and we are the ones to believe it.

There is nothing in this world that can change what God has spoken. Therefore, we can be confident that no matter what we see or hear, we will always prosper and be in good health.

Our confession of what Christ has done will give life to all our situations and will change the structure so that we can receive what God has already provided.

Let us put our faith in God who has spoken, established, and delivered every blessing into our lives.
