Ephesians 6:9 NKJV

And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Ephesians 6:9 NKJV

Paul encouraged godly leadership in managing people who have been entrusted to us, ministring with our wealth and effort.

To give up threatening is to give up the nature of superiority that display the 'I am above all' attitude. This attitude come from pride.

This attitude and nature will lead to self-destruction. It blinds the true nature of life and love. Usually people who operate in this attitude are grumpy, not happy and always looking at the faults and failings of others.

This does not bring any joy or peace to the person.

Instead, bitterness will creep in and leave them in a painful position.

The opposite is giving to serving and loving people whom God has given to us. When God gives us people, we are to nurture them and lead them to greatness according to what Christ has established for all mankind.

Guide the people who are at work and show them a better way so that everyone can better themselves and grow into maturity.

Let us use every opportunity to uplift, encourage, build and strengthen everyone whom the Lord has placed in our lives

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
