A simple statement, but a powerful testament for Paul to say "Imitate me." For Paul to encourage others to imitate him, Paul had to journey, persevere and go through the test of time.

Paul's lifestyle needed to be tested and proven.

His life needed to be challenged in every area in order to be an example for others.

The truth is people are looking for models that will show them how to effectively live in Christ. People are looking for answers to many things in life.

Each one of us is called to be an example for others to follow. We are to be witnesses for Christ. Each one of us needs to be the shining light for others. If we can be a model to stand for others, we will bring such influence on our society.

It starts by we putting God's word into practice. Training ourselves in the truth of God's word, bringing ourselves to be yielded to His image and likeness.

This is so that we too can say what Paul said. That we all can be imitators of Christ by the grace of God.
